Welcome to my space on the internet. Here you’ll find the results of the evolution of my passion for astrophotography and photography. Although I’ve I’ve enjoyed astronomy for many, many years, and have owned a number of different scopes, it’s only been these past few years that I’ve been able to truly explore and enjoy this hobby in more depth.
It’s been a dream of mine for a long time to have my own observatory, and that dream was finally realized in the summer of 2010. I want to give my sincerest thanks to Kent, Larry, Brenda and Erin for helping me make it a reality. With the help of family, I managed to build a 10×10 roll-off-roof observatory, based on the Skyshed design. Since then I’ve enjoyed the freedom to use my telescope at a moments notice, and my time spent at the eyepiece (and imaging) have increased 10-fold.
Another of my hobbies is perticipating with the 501st. I currently have a movie-quality Return of the Jedi Boba Fett costume that I attend functions and charity events in. It’s proven to be a great cause, supported by fantastic people.
